Ash and Tom were in the field with the Meralli team recently completing ‘pull tests.’ Basically this is where a steel rod, pipe or beam is driven into the ground to varying depths and then the amount of effort required to pull it back out is measured. This is part of the engineering process to ensure that panel mounting systems can withstand wind-loadings which could potentially up-root an entire array.
