Broken Hill City Council

This remote regional NSW city has a dynamic Council with the aim of being 100% renewable, both for Council operations and the city itself!

CE co-developed a Renewable Energy Action Plan in 2020 and consequently supported Council to develop a 5MW solar array. Unfortunately, site constraints meant that this approach was not viable, so efforts are now underway to deliver a distributed approach across Council assets.

CE is assisting with project design and feasibility as well as, critically, helping define the retail model that would enable the project.
